Lilleshall Abbey

(CLICK ON A PIC AND IT WILL GO BIG)

I had the chance of another trip through Shropshire again. This time it was the turn of Lilleshall Abbey just north of Telford. I had packed pretty much all my various lenses but chose the old faithfulls again. Takumar 50mmf1.4, 17mm f4 Fisheye, 100mm f4 Macro and 58mm f2.4 Asahiflex. There was plenty of nice old grafitti in the stairwell.

I was intreaged by that triangular decoration in the first window

Three doors

Four windows

Nice light cast from the spiral stairs

That 58mm Asahiflex

It was fun trying to do this leaving the camera on the floor with a 2 second timer and running like hell!

The quick impromptu shots often work. This was a twister on the way back down the stairs

This is my favourite
