A Pastoral Symphony

As an antidote to the rather brutal industrial pics from Frankfurt how about a bit of soft and fuzzy English pasture. I went out to Tealham and wandered lonely as a proverbial along the tracks that fan out from the road. I took only two lenses and this time one wasn't the Fisheye! Yes I was a little nervous about it but I took the chance. This time it was back to the good old 50mm f1.4 and the lesser used 135mm f2.5 Taks. These were specifically chosen for their super Bokeh powers. So sit back and whistle a tune or two of cowpat music and enjoy the oh so soft world of low f-stop!

You can wake up now!

Schatten und Licht

Ah the good old German language. You really can't go more than two sentences without a swear word or two. I was sitting enjoying my evening meal in the drizzle on the pavement outside the lovely little Indian restaurant in the suburbs of Frankfurt wondering what to call this post when next to the poster on those oh so European round bill boards advertising Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, yes folks its still 1985!!, there was a poster for a local photographers exhibition. It was perfect: Schatten und Licht (Snigger!!)

Apologies for the limited repertoire as I had a limited time due to eating, the rain and a football match oh and work of course! I had to pair my kit down due to travel and plumped for the 50mm f1.4 Tak and 17mm f4 Fisheye Tak. Thought I would give the 58mm Asahiflex a rest for a bit. Most of these pics were taken on the rail bridge over the river Main and a short stretch along the north bank.

Can you spot the love birds?

Quite like this one

Bar on the right bank where I watched the NI v Germany match

Short and sweet or should that be Kurz und süß (Snigger) oh!
